Case Study
2,400 kW Power Generation for Mining Operations
Challenge:
Our client needed a reliable, high-capacity power solution to support mining operations in Northern Ontario, where extreme cold and remote conditions pose significant challenges.
Solution:
We modified a field-proven genset package for the project and included two L7044 GSID Waukesha engines, among other equipment, providing a total output of 2,400 kW at 4,160V. We handled all aspects of the design, fabrication, start-up, and commissioning to ensure optimal performance.
Outcome:
Our solution delivered reliable, high-specification power that met strict safety and maintenance standards. The system’s robust design has proven effective in one of Canada’s harshest climates, supporting critical mining operations with dependable energy.
