Manufacturing and Service Facilities
Enerflex’s Canadian manufacturing facilities have long provided extensive design and fabrication for domestic and international orders. Enerflex’s facilities go vastly beyond the standard “fabrication shops” found across western Canada. Significant investments have raised these facilities into state-of-the-art operations geared for growing output of sophisticated, high-quality modules.
Our facilities are complete manufacturing centres providing high-quality output in controlled environments, with multiple indoor assembly bays. Best practice programs include lean manufacturing, SAP-based information systems and iMACS control engineering software. Our facilities also include a refitted spool shop and high-tech new production equipment such as a plasma table and a computer-guided pressure vessel profiler. These measures have significantly improved efficiency and reduced labour costs. Our talented engineering and trades teams maximize the advantages of working in such great facilities.
Enerflex operates two main manufacturing facilities in Calgary, Alberta. Our recently upgraded 47 Street facility in Calgary concentrates on compression packages, processing modules and electric power solutions for the natural gas and oil sectors, while our recently upgraded facility at Barlow is now focused exclusively on the regions outside operations, including equipment rentals, retrofits, and equipment service and parts.
We also operate a network of field service locations, a parts distribution centre in Leduc, Alberta with over $40 million in inventory, two retrofit and overhaul shops, and a rental centre.
